Basketball Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss

Olympia lost against University back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Olympia Titans had to suffer through a 62-25 loss at the hands of the University Cougars. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Jasmine Fajardo was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 18 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrice Lopez, who had 12 points.

Olympia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for University, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Olympia will take on Freedom on Tuesday. Olympia is facing Freedom at the right time seeing as Freedom is stuck on a five-game losing streak. University has already played their next matchup (against Boone), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
