Volleyball Recap: Fairlawn Takes a Loss

Fairlawn lost against Anna back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jets lost 3-0 to the Rockets.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-13.

Maddy Miller paced Fairlawn's offense, picking up ten kills. Miller got some help from Avah Roediger and her 25 assists.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Anna to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooklyn Cruse, who had 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Cruse a new career-high.

Fairlawn dropped their record down to 6-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Anna, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Fairlawn will square off against Jackson Center at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anna, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Parkway on the 6th.
