Volleyball Recap: Manokotak Wins Going Away Against Togiak

Manokotak had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Togiak on Friday. The Lynx put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lynx not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 10th (when they won 3-0).

While Manokotak might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Togiak scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 26-24.

Manokotak now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Togiak, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Manokotak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Chief Ivan Blunka on the 14th. Togiak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
