            Baseball Recap: Lompoc Braves vs. Righetti Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Lompoc hadn't done well against Righetti recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Wednesday. The Braves skirted past the Warriors  6-4. This was payback for the Braves, who suffered  a  7-2  loss the last time these two teams met.

 Ignacio Lara looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. What's more,  he posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in March of 2024.
 At the plate,  Ronnie Munoz was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and four  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Sebastian Bravo was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
The  win made it two in a row for Lompoc and  bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4  runs in those games. As for Righetti,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-4.
 Lompoc wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  defeat against Arroyo Grande on the 28th. As for Righetti, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  3-2  loss against St. Joseph on the 28th.
