Basketball Game Preview: Center Point Pirates vs. Junction Eagles

Center Point is on a six-game streak of home losses, Junction a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Center Point Pirates will host the Junction Eagles at 6:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Center Point had to suffer through a 71-16 loss at the hands of San Saba. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1346th, while the Armadillos are ranked 158th).

Meanwhile, Junction was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 40-35 to Johnson City.

Center Point's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Junction, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.
