Basketball Recap: Paul VI Gets the Win

The Paul VI Eagles were able to grind out a solid win over the Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors on Saturday, taking the game 51-43.

Sankofa Freedom Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nafis Dubose, who posted ten points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nasir Brown, who scored eight points.

The victory got Paul VI back to even at 1-1. As for Sankofa Freedom Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Paul VI will head out to take on Atlantic City at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sankofa Freedom Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Pottstown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
