Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley Comes Up Short

If Tri-Valley was riding high fresh off their 57-18 takedown of St. Thomas More on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tri-Valley Vikings took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 49-43 loss back in January.

Tri-Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 21-8. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 25-5.

As of now, neither Tri-Valley nor Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley have any future games scheduled.
