Soccer Recap: Tyler Comes Up Short

Tyler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitehouse Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Wildcats are ranked 177th).

Tyler's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Whitehouse, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3-3.

Tyler has already played their next contest (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Whitehouse, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Whitehouse challenge Hallsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
