Volleyball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against NCSSM: Morganton last Thursday, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy came back down to earth. The Gryphons fell 3-1 to the Mountain Island Charter Raptors on Tuesday. The Gryphons haven't had much luck with the Raptors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Mountain Island Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy and Mountain Island Charter will both be playing Queen's Grant the next time they take the court. The Gryphons will head out to face the Stallions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raptors will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
