Mason Hawk Henry made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. In other pitching news, Noah Brady looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
Back at the plate, Drew Smith was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Keaton Nordick was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double.
Pleasant Grove lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lone Peak didn't launched any home runs.
Pleasant Grove pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Lone Peak, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-12.
