Baseball Recap: Sebastopol Takes a Loss

It was fun while it lasted, but Sebastopol's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. They fell 11-8 to the Puckett Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 14-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Luke McGarrity and Harrison Peebles stepped up to the plate in a big way. McGarrity scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4, while Peebles scored a run while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases McGarrity has posted since back in March of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sebastopol fell to 3-1. As for Puckett, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Sebastopol didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 win against Nanih Waiya on the 25th. As for Puckett, they have also already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Taylorsville on the 25th.
