Soccer Recap: Yorktown's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

If Yorktown was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Westfield two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots fell just short of the Langley Saxons by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The match was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Yorktown couldn't quite close it out.

Yorktown moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Langley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
