Softball Recap: Morgan Township Cherokees vs. Boone Grove Wolves
Morgan Township had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 4-7 to make it four. They came up short against the Boone Grove Wolves, falling 12-2. The Cherokees were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.
As for Boone Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.
For Boone Grove's part, Jordyn Botma was a major factor no matter where she played.
