Basketball Recap: Sands Takes a Loss

Sands has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 60-45 to the Borden County Coyotes. The Mustangs were probably out for revenge after losing 42-30 to them when the teams met back in February of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sands' defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Borden County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

Sands will head out on the road to face off against Grady at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Borden County, they will square off against Klondike at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Klondike will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Borden County surely won't give up without a fight.
