Volleyball Game Preview: Picayune Maroon Tide vs. George County Rebels + How To Watch

Picayune is 0-8 against George County since August of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Maroon Tide are taking a road trip to challenge the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Picayune came up short against Bay and fell 3-1.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Bay scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-27, 25-21, 25-23.

Meanwhile, George County didn't have quite enough to beat Oak Grove on Thursday and fell 3-2.

George County's defeat dropped their record down to 27-12. As for Picayune, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Picayune couldn't quite get it done against George County in their previous meeting two weeks ago as they fell 2-0. Can the Maroon Tide avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
