Volleyball Recap: Verdigris Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Verdigris had taken Rejoice Christian down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Cardinals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Verdigris dropped their record down to 14-18 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Rejoice Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Verdigris will square off against Inola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rejoice Christian, they will challenge Cascia Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
