Gateway Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-2. As for Evangelical Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.

Evangelical Christian took their victory against Gateway Charter in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. Will Evangelical Christian repeat their success, or does Gateway Charter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
