Aplington-Parkersburg's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Alburnett, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aplington-Parkersburg will host Jesup on Saturday. As for Alburnett, they will take on Hudson on Saturday.
