Football Recap: Dupree Falls Short of Castlewood in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dupree can now relate to. They were beaten by the Castlewood Warriors 46-12 on Thursday. The Tigers were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the five matchups prior), but the Warriors' defense proved too tough.

Dupree's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Castlewood, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Dupree does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Castlewood, they will take on Wall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
