Softball Recap: Imlay City Takes a Loss

Imlay City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Walled Lake Northern Knights.

Imlay City's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Walled Lake Northern, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Imlay City didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-1 defeat against Escanaba on the 3rd. As for Walled Lake Northern, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Goodrich on the 3rd.
