Basketball Recap: Harnett Central Trojans vs. Clayton Comets
Harnett Central played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Clayton Comets, falling 63-39. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Comets: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Harnett Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Southerlynn Nickerson shot 55% from the field en route to 14 points.
