Soccer Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

After flying high against Haltom last Tuesday, Arlington came back down to earth. The Arlington Colts came up short against the South Grand Prairie Warriors on Friday, falling 3-0. The loss put an end to the Colts' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Arlington fell to 10-1. As for South Grand Prairie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Arlington will welcome Sam Houston at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Arlington's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Sam Houston has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for South Grand Prairie, they will square off against Lamar at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
