Basketball Recap: Lucius Comis and Seamus Wilson Secure Win for Logos

Logos hadn't done well against Lapwai recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Logos Knights walked away with a 67-55 win over the Lapwai Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Wildcats on January 4th, they had to take a 60-54 defeat.

Leading Logos to victory were Seamus Wilson and Lucius Comis. Wilson posted 27 points along with eight boards and five assists, while Comis dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jes Brower, who scored four points.

Logos is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Lapwai, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Logos will head out on the road to take on Potlatch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Potlatch's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Lapwai, they will welcome Moscow at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
