Basketball Recap: Griswold Comes Up Short

If Griswold was riding high fresh off their 68-46 takedown of Essex last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Griswold Tigers had to suffer through a 72-39 loss at the hands of the Sidney Cowboys. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Cowboys recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Griswold's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Sidney, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Griswold will welcome Stanton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Sidney, they will head out on the road to challenge East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
