When it comes to explaining why Twiggs Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Josh Nobles. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds. Nobles scored a full 78% of Twiggs Academy's points, the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Central Georgia Arts' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Twiggs Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Georgia Arts has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Windsor Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
