After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Logan-Rogersville, Summit Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past Kauffman 62-38. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 28-point performance the matchup before.

It was another big night for Mike Thomas III, who went 9-for-17 en route to 24 points and five boards. Grady Ellerman was another key player, shooting 55% from the field on his way to 12 points and seven assists.

Summit Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Kauffman, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Summit Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Springfield Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kauffman, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
