Basketball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood's game on Friday was all tied up 18-18 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 47-37 to the Hamilton Township Rangers. The Lancers were probably out for revenge after losing 33-26 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hamilton Township, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakewood will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Zanesville at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Hamilton Township, they will look to defend their home court on January 3, 2025 against Bloom-Carroll at 7:00 p.m.
