After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Keystone, Columbia was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Oberlin Phoenix get on the board and left with a 19-0 win. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 11 runs or more this season.
Alina Jones looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Grace Anderson, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Cami Shackelton was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Columbia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
