Softball Recap: Paris Tigers vs. Lawrenceville Indians
Paris got their first taste of in-conference action on Wednesday and they started things off strong. They put the hurt on the Lawrenceville Indians with a sharp 8-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won six in a row.
Emma Kraemer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Kaidence Eveland was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Alison Wyrick was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Paris' win bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Lawrenceville, their loss dropped their record down to 8-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paris will host Richland County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lawrenceville, they will be playing at home against North Clay/Clay City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering the Indians have lost four straight at home and North Clay/Clay City three straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
