Soccer Recap: East Hamilton Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times East Hamilton and Signal Mountain have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Hurricanes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. East Hamilton were not able to make up for their loss to Signal Mountain from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

East Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Signal Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

East Hamilton will take on Ooltewah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Hamilton are facing Ooltewah at the right time seeing as Ooltewah are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Signal Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
