Soccer Game Preview: St. Augustine vs. Incarnate Word Academy

The St. Augustine Knights will take on the Incarnate Word Academy Angels in a tournament on Saturday. St. Augustine's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for St. Augustine's offense. They lost 4-0 to IDEA Riverview last Friday.

Meanwhile, Incarnate Word Academy also failed to score in their most recent game. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vela on Friday.

St. Augustine's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

St. Augustine suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Incarnate Word Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Can St. Augustine avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
