League recap: Webb dominating on the mound for Calvary Chapel

Zach Webb was the best pitcher in the league this week. He won two games and struck out 11 batters.

Wyatt Haccou was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .462 average, one home run and nine RBIs. His Calvary Chapel team went 3-0.

The Eagles scored a league-best 48 runs this week, adding to their league-leading 265 runs on the season. Calvary Chapel's key hitters include Kyle Mellinger, who has a team-high 50 runs, and Haccou, who leads the squad with with 45 RBIs.

Estancia gave up just six walks last week, ensuring that it held on to the top spot in the league in that category with only 59 allowed for the season.

The Eagles' Michael Fuchs led the league with nine hits this week. His 17 hits for the year are thirty-first in the league, and he boasts a .370 batting average.



Joseph Raus threw a shutout as he led Estancia to victory over Costa Mesa, 18-2, on Thursday. He pitched seven scoreless innings and struck out seven, while giving up two hits.
