Basketball Recap: Union County's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

Union County and Butler squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Union County had to settle for second. They fell 57-49 to the Butler Bulldogs. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Union County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vince Marevka, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Hayden Hughes was another key player, putting up 14 points.
