Basketball Game Preview: El Paso-Gridley Titans vs. Olympia Spartans

The El Paso-Gridley Titans will take on the Olympia Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. El Paso-Gridley will be strutting in after a victory while Olympia will be coming in after a loss.

El Paso-Gridley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 68-52 win over Fieldcrest on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Olympia came up short against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central on Thursday and fell 46-34. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Bluejays: they've now lost seven in a row.

El Paso-Gridley's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Olympia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-21.

El Paso-Gridley strolled past Olympia in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 50-34. Will El Paso-Gridley repeat their success, or does Olympia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
