Football Recap: Aucilla Christian Starts Season with Victory Against Varsity Opponent + How To Watch

Aucilla Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past Varsity Opponent, posting a 27-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Landon La Rosa had an outrageously good game as he threw for 278 yards and two TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown. A healthy portion of La Rosa's aerial production (103 yards to be exact) went to Bryson Mills, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Coming up, Aucilla Christian will head out to face off against Scintilla Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 38-6 defeat against Tennessee Heat on the 16th.
