Ashland won the last time they faced Minneola and things went their way on Monday too. The Ashland Blue Jays breezed past the Minneola Wildcats to the tune of 60-30. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Jays.

Leading Ashland to victory were Molly Harris and Biannca Ceniceros. Harris went 9-for-16 on her way to 22 points in addition to eight rebounds and eight steals, while Ceniceros went 7-for-15 to rack up 18 points along with seven boards and seven steals. The dominant performance also gave Harris a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (50%). Emilia Ceniceros was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Ashland was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Minneola only posted five assists.

Minneola lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Raena Temaat, who posted 11 points and eight boards.

Ashland's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Minneola, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
