Volleyball Recap: Montrose Gets the Win

Montrose hadn't done well against Western Wayne recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Meteors came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Meteors, who suffered a 1-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Montrose had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-20.

Montrose now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Western Wayne, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4.
