Basketball Recap: Clayton's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Clayton had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 40-24 victory over the Boswell Scorpions. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Scorpions back in December of 2024, they had to take a 44-39 defeat.

Clayton's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Boswell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clayton will face off against Bennington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boswell, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coleman at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th.
