While Central Catholic's win against Patterson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders skirted past the Tigers 6-4. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Will Magni looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Chase Perino was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Kiesel, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Patterson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Central Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
