Baseball Recap: Christchurch School Takes a Loss

Christchurch School lost against St. Christopher back in March of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Seahorses lost 12-2 to the Saints. The Seahorses' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Christchurch School saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Fitchett, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Christchurch School's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for St. Christopher's, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christchurch School will welcome Isle of Wight Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Christopher's, they will host Woodberry Forest at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
