Baseball Recap: Memphis East Takes a Loss

Memphis East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 15-7 to the Memphis Central Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly eight runs.

Memphis East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Memphis Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Memphis East will be playing in front of their home fans against Melrose at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Memphis Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Kirby at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
