            Softball Recap: Sunnyside Blue Devils vs. Corona del Sol Aztecs        
        
		
        
        
            Sunnyside extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Corona del Sol. They came out on top against the Aztecs by a score of  10-7. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered  a  7-2  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Tatyana Vega made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Vega was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Bianca Cobo and  Soleil Ponce did most of the damage at the plate:  Cobo  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI, while  Ponce  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Alyssa Gonsalez, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Sunnyside is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7-1 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Corona del Sol, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-16 record  this season.
 Sunnyside has  already played their next  match (against Tucson High Magnet School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Corona del Sol does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
