If Lincoln was feeling good fresh off their 62-26 takedown of Central Crossing on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lincoln Lions took a 69-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centennial Stars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (62), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Centennial found their leader in sophomore Kennedy Houston, who went 14 for 26 en route to 42 points and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Houston has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aza Corbett, who posted eight points and 14 boards.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Centennial, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Lincoln and Centennial should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Lincoln will square off against Pickerington North at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 186 places (138 vs. 324). Meanwhile, Centennial (ranked 159th) will meet East (ranked 765th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
