Basketball Recap: Rankin Comes Up Short

Rankin is still winless after their game against Eden on Monday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They fell just short of the Eden Bulldogs by a score of 39-37. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Rankin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Eden, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4.

Rankin will be taking part in a tournament against Valley at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Eden, they will take on Evant in a tournament on Friday.
