Soccer Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Spring Valley was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Riverside on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Boyd County Lions by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Filip Jessen was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Spring Valley's goal came courtesy of Jessen, who's now up to four this season.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Boyd County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
