Football Recap: Manor New Tech Takes a Loss

Manor New Tech extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They took a blow against the Brentwood Christian Bears, falling 56-21. Manor New Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.

As for Brentwood Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1. That looming 56-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Brayden Jennings produced another solid effort rushing for 144 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also throwing for 234 yards and four TDs on only 13 passes. Those 234 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Brentwood Christian's leading receiver Jack Hansen was Jennings' top target yet again, picking up 120 receiving yards and one score.

Manor New Tech and Brentwood Christian will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Manor New Tech will face off against rival Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brentwood Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Grace Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
