Northeast Baptist took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They came out on top against Mount Olive Christian by a score of 3-1. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win Mount Olive Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

In the three sets Northeast Baptist was on fire: they won each by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 19-25, 25-7.

This is the second loss in a row for Mount Olive Christian and nudges their season record down to 8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast Baptist will welcome Ascension Classical at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Mount Olive Christian, they will square off against ARC Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th. The match will give Mount Olive Christian their first taste of in-conference action this season.
