Basketball Game Preview: Ashbrook Greenwave vs. West Charlotte Lions

The Ashbrook Greenwave will take on the West Charlotte Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Ashbrook's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 23 games.

Last Friday, Ashbrook strolled past Huss with points to spare, taking the game 69-55. The Greenwave haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ashbrook to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Armstrong, who en route to 10 points and seven assists. Armstrong has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Issac Byers Jr., who on his way to 14 points along with six assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, West Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch last Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 69-61 to Mallard Creek.

West Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Ashbrook, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-3.
