Soccer Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Hallsville Bobcats, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in January.

Marshall's record now sits at 1-11. As for Hallsville, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall will head out to face off against Texas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hallsville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Hallsville take on the Lufkin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
