Skyline started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Warren County. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-5 on Saturday. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Izaiah Matthews made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Warren County, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-9 record.
